G-44 Widgeon Seaplane EP ARF

The G-44 Widgeon is a 5-seat twinengine amphibious aircraft stemming from the height of seaplane popularity during the 1940’s. This model, with added constructional improvements, perfectly captures the fl air of those times. The model has a sturdy fibreglass fuselage, and wooden built-up covered wings. The G-44 Widgeon can be assembled in a short time, thanks to extensive prefabrication. Taking off, landing , and manoeuvring on water are made easy with the water rudder, and with the power of two brushless motors, the Widgeon will gain altitude quickly. Even simple aerobatics, although untypical for this type of aircraft, can be easily performed. All these features make this model an excellent all-rounder, as due to the reinforced hull, the G-44 Widgeon will also land comfortably on grass and snow.
